This project, designed by Bell Engineering, is intended to serve a dual-purpose as a passive park with stormwater management functions. As a $12,000,000 FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant, the primary purpose was to address flooding problems caused by an undersized system on the southern part of the University of Kentucky’s main campus.
